Meta is a Greek word which means “beyond”. It was first reported by a tech news website called The Verge that is planning to change its name to Metaverse. He also said, “Over the next five years or so, in the next chapter of our company, I think we will effectively transition from people seeing us as primarily being a social media company to being a Metaverse company.” Meta would be the official corporate name of Facebook which would be the corporate umbrella for Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook and App Messenger with all other Facebook’s products.
